Answers to Questions about E.Y.C.

“What is E. Y. C. ?”
E.Y.C. is a club dedicated to equipping us Youth to share the gospel with this dying world. I believe that we cannot and should not wait until we are adults to preach the gospel. We do not know when Christ is going to take us, thus we should live are life as if it is going to be today. In Matthew 28:19-20 Jesus says, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; even to the end of the age.” I believe that is what He wishes us to do for Him and His kingdom.
“What do we do in E. Y. C. ?”
Well we meet every other week, around twice a month. It is a two part club, part one we watch videos, maybe do a Bible study, have guest speakers do role playing, and share spiritual growth and question. Whatever God leads. The second week, second part, we will take what we learned and apply it. We will street witness by handing out tracks etc., or sharing Christ’s love by lending a hand. Hopefully once and a while we will get a chance to do an outreach or Missions Trip. In order to do Mission Trips or Outreaches we will also need to raise money through Garage Sales, Bake Sales etc., With God’s grace we will plant seeds in peoples lives or even lead some to Christ.
“But I’m only a youth!”
You may be saying. Age does not matter as in Jeremiah 1:6-9 “ ‘ Ah Lord God! Behold I cannot speak for I am a youth.’ But the Lord said to me: ‘Do not say I am a youth, For you shall go to whom I send you, and whatever I command you, you shall speak. Do not be afraid of there faces, for I am with you to deliver you,’” says the Lord. Then the Lord put forth His hand and touched my mouth, and the Lord said to me: ‘Behold I have put my words in your mouth.’” God will guide you to minister His word to those around you. Do not be afraid, God will give you His strength.
